Echoes of this book replay in my mind daily. Reichβs narrative around the changing culture of the United States has filled in gaps of cultural knowledge between the mid-1960s to present. His words on the school system are particularly poignant for me, since Iβm about to put my 4-year-old into a heavily segregated school system in New York City.
